OUR WEBSITE’S AIM
Welcome to Hooked on Flies, or as it’s now known Hooked on Flies & Lures. Some of
our followers may cringe at the fact that we are adding lure sportsfishing to this site,
but as it is an important part of how we fish, and lures influences our fly fishing & vice
versa, we thought we’d cover both aspects. At the end of the day a fly is in fact a lure,
so it all fits.
OUR MISSION
Pretty simple, and unchanged. To share our adventures, knowledge and opinions on
all things fly and lure fishing, to hopefully assist others that are just starting out or are
indeed branching out into new facets of the sport. Between the contributors of this
page we have almost 100 years of fishing experience, so why not share. We were
taught by others, so this is our way of giving back.
